![]() Treat Williams played Sheriff Tarsy, the stress and pressure of getting everything under control were very much visible in his portrayal. Thomas Jane was strong, stoic and quietly intense as Zoe’s father, The supporting cast complimented Run Hide Fight quite nicely. I’ve never seen Eli Brown prior to this film and I hope to see him again however with a much different role. Every scene he was in left me feeling rather uneasy as he was so terrifying and unpredictable while sporting a smile on his face most of the time like he’s having the time of his life. The Face Of A MenaceĮli Brown maintained a menacing presence as the primary antagonist, Tristan Voy, he was sadistic, manipulative, narcissistic and wanted everyone to know it. Now that I know more of what Isabel May can do I will most definitely be keeping an eye out for her. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by Isabel, I know her as Katie from the Netflix sitcom, Alexa and Katie as Katie and let’s just say Katie is a far departure from Zoe. She showed the range of emotions presented in her character of Zoe, we saw her withdrawn, grieving, scared and courageous, at no point did her performance fall flat. She sells herself as a girl dealing with a recent trauma who is forced to overcome it in such extreme circumstances to save her classmates and teachers. Isabel May gave a fierce performance as our heroine, Zoe Hull. Honestly, this just may be the longest I have ever gone watching a film without blinking. The relationship between action and drama was symbiotic, the pacing was consistent and the acting was flawless. The storyline is one that I strongly applaud and it was clearly very well written. ![]() RELATED: Dopesick Review: Astonishing Revelation Of How Corporate America is the Devil Kyle Rankin took relevant and controversial subject matter to make Run Hide Fight the brilliant contemporary action film that it is.
